"Wreaths Across America" Fort Stewart, GA
What a day! 11 December 2007 The sun was beautiful and the wind was blowing cold. This past year, we had not rain for about eight weeks for the first "Wreath Across America" and about five minutes before the Ceremony and I was in purple and looked like a soaked California "raisin" all day long. The honor to be presented for my chosen community that my late USMC Sgt. John W. Barbee spent only four days visiting brings joy to my heart. Here I stand with the Wreath on Fort Stewart just before transporting it to Pembroke for that Ceremony.

Cook and I set the "Wreath Across America" Wreath presented to me at the heart touching ceremony at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The Wreath had a solemn police escort to Pembroke Memorial Park which honors the Fallen, the POW-MIA and "9/ll" Day of Pain.
