The Quiet Truth
TELLING IT ALL!
When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was believed that he had nothing left of any value.

I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
Everyone has re-purposed items at one time or another.
Here are some of my uses……
Paper cores from paper towels or toilet tissue.
Paper towel core: cut into four mini-tubes…
Toilet paper core: use as is
pinch one end…. with good scissors, .snip about ½ inch up.
now have the cut sides touch each other by pinching. now
snip the sides ½ inch.
Now lock the four cut ends as you would close a cardboard cartoon.
Usage: storing items in plastic bins.
put soil from bags into the mini-tubes and plant seeds. Set tubes with
seeds in the ground. Hopefully, the critters that destroy new plantings
will be deterred from eating the seeds by the paper core.
Jewelry savers: Flatten the paper cores snip slots.
wrap necklaces into the snipped lots. Now, place in zip-snack bags.
Dollar store liquid dish soaps.
Squirt the soap around the bathroom face bowl and scrub with a nail brush.
Be sure to get around the faucet handles.
Raise the toilet lids and squirt some of the soap around the toilet bowl
just under the rim.
Scrub the toilet bowl with a “kitchen long handled, angled dish scrubber
brush”. Those brushes are stronger and better than the “loop”
Now your bath zone is clean and smells of the liquid soap.
In my battery powered liquid soap dispensers, I only use Alberto VO5
“Strawberries & Cream” Shampoo. Nothing beats any shampoo for cutting dirt
and grease off hands! The price is right too!!!!!!!
Mesh bags: Many items are sold in mesh bags. Re-purpose them.
Take slivers of hand soap, put in the bag, tie a knot.
Place soap bags in easy reach outside by a garden hose
for children to have fun washing their dirt filthy hands.
Larger mesh bags can hold loose “lost items” in the work room.
Mesh bags can be used to sift whatever when a good sieve could
Ants in the house?
After a scare of termites, turned out to be crawling winged ants coming out of
Winter sleep. They found a way into the house to a bathroom. I captured one.
It was saved for the “termite man”. After an infestation education, I Googled
and learned more.
One site told of ridding them with an oil that was $14 per ounce. No way!
I gave a good squirt from the baby oil bottle. Ta-dahhhhhhhh. No more invading
ants. No mess from the baby oil.
In a rush I noticed my leather shoes were dusty. I grabbed a Lysol Wipe and
gave the shoes a good go-over. They Wipe did not harm the leather. There
was no residue. My hands were not dirty and I was on my way.
